SHORTYETI / SIGNAL

What's weird
right now?

Signal checks real public data around a location and turns it into one readable field note: what is active, what is worth looking up for, and what is simply quiet.

Browse places & nights →

Scanning or refreshing sends the selected latitude and longitude rounded to three decimal places to ShortYeti’s online service. The service requests local data from NWS, USGS and MeteorShowerCal using those coordinates, and from NASA EONET using a surrounding area. After a scan, the live sky view can also request aircraft context from ADSB.lol using those coordinates. This can still identify a precise location. No account is required.
